Mobile game port of Loop Hero
Loop Hero is a premium role-playing game coming from developer Playdigious. It is the official mobile port of the popular roguelike for PCs of the same name. In it, players are thrust into a randomly generated world that is constantly changing with their decisions through a card-based action system.
Much like Loop Hero for PC, this mobile version retains the same build-your-own-adventure approach to gameplay that fans loved. Being made for mobile, it features various optimizations that make it ideal for touch devices like a revamped UI, cloud saves, and support for third-party gamepads for a better experience.
Rebuild the world
Loop Hero exists at the edge of reality, wherein an evil lich has destroyed the world and thrust it into a state of constant flux. You are a hero who awakens in a small campsite and embarks on a perilous journey to rebuild the world. You will meet other survivors along the way who will help you with your quest.
The game begins with a blank map and a set of cards that let you build out the world. The level randomly evolves with each loop you make. Level up and collect powerful gear to prepare for the final stage battle when the boss meter gets full. The aforementioned survivors will lend a hand in the form of permanent upgrades and perks for successive runs.
In roguelike fashion, failing to beat the boss at the end will have you start all over again, but with some loot carried over to spend on upgrades for your next run. Now, as of this writing, the game is not yet available. However, you can already pre-register and get a chance to try it out for free before its official release.
